GOVERNMENT TOLD TO TREAD CAREFULLY IN R.A.M.S.I WITHDRAWAL

The former police minister and member of parliament for Shortlands Province, Chris Laore has warned the Democratic Coalition for Change Government (DCC) to tread carefully in the withdrawal of the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands (RAMSI).

Mr Laore made the comments on Friday in his contribution to the Sine Die motion.

He says, says as a former minister of police, it is important to caution the government to follow all transition requirements that are embedded in our country.

Mr Laore explains, mishandling this matter can affect the law and order provisions of the regional institution.
