MALAITA PREMIER FIRST TO VISIT NEW HCC MAYOR

Malaita Premier Peter Ramohia is the first premier to officially visit the newly elected Mayor Andrew Mua.

A statement from Honiara City Council confirms Premier Ramohia made the courtesy visit on the Mayor last Wednesday, two days after Mr. Mua took office.

During the visit, Premier Ramohia congratulated Mua and wish him and his new executive well, on behalf of the Malaita Provincial Executive, Assembly members, and the people of Province.

Both leaders further discussed various issues relating to both local governments including how they can successfully address them.
