One hundred and 30 young people of Naro to Vata communities in North West Guadalcanal have received the sacrament of confirmation over the weekend, at the Visale Parish.
SIBC stringer for Northwest Guadalcanal, John Toki reports Arch Bishop Adrian Smith of the Catholic Church was the main celebrant of the mass.
Mr Toki says the Arch Bishop\’s main message to the children is to always obey and listen to elders in their communities and also encouraged them to take good care of themselves.
He also reports more than 1-thousand people attended the ceremony last Sunday.
