Women in Honiara will commemorate International Women\’s Day tomorrow.
The day begins with a parade from the Honiara City Council to Art Gallery where activities will take place.
This year\’s International Women\’s Day theme is, \” Empowering Women and Girls in Solomon Islands – Making it Happen.\”
A theme which highlights the important role women play in the development of Solomon Islands.
International Women\’s Day is an annual event and falls on 8th March.
