The Western Provincial Government has passed its 2016-2017 appropriation budget.
The assembly passed the $25.1 million budget yesterday.
Provincial Finance Minister Lester Saomasi says the budget appeared to be centrally controlled, limiting all Provincial Government liberty to deliver most needed services of recurrent nature.
Mr Saomasi reminded the assembly, the budget will fulfil the government\’s obligatory role of delivering quality services to its populace.
