The Western Provincial Government is waiting for the Central Tender Board (CTB) to decide on a contractor to start road works in Gizo town.
Gizo town has a long standing issue with no proper roads.
However, speaking to SIBC News, Deputy Premier of Western Province Wayne Maepio says they are looking forward to the road work to start as soon as a contractor is identified.
\”We are looking forward to our Central Tender Board in Honiara to consider which contractor wins the bid to carry out the Gizo town road maintenance.\”
