WESTERN ISLES WINNERS OF INTER-ISLAND RUGBY 15s

Western Isles battled it out against Rennell for the top spot in the grand final of the Matson-Silent World Inter-Islands Rugby 15s Championship this evening and have won the Championship.

The two teams made their way through the grand final after defeating MOI and Malaita Subi respectively.

Tournament Manager Nick Hatigeva updates SIBC sports, Western Isles won the game, 15 to 13.

SIBC News understands the championship\’s Awards Ceremony will take place after the game\’s conclusion.
