Catholic Parishioners of Visale Church and Sisters of the Catholic Church have recently celebrated the 90th Anniversary of a Missionary Sister of the Society of Mary.
Sister Teresa is from the United States of America, joined the society on February 2, in 1954.
SIBC stringer for north west Guadalcanal, John Toki reports Sister Teresa described her mission in Solomon Islands as fruitful.
He reports, Sister Teresa served in Makira, Malaita and Guadalcanal and has inspired the lives of many catholic people.
Sister Teresa is currently teaching interested women who wish to become \’Sisters\’ at Vutulaka, Visale in North West Guadalcanal and with Aruligo communities.
