Vata community in Northwest Guadalcanal has celebrated St. Bartholomew yesterday.
The celebration coincides with children receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion and Baptism by father Peter Chele.
Speaking at the celebration, Father Chele reminds parents and children on living a Christian life to be good citizens of Solomon Islands.
Meanwhile, Provincial Member for Sahalu ward Brian Tuva urged the people of Sahalu to maintain their Christian life.
\”Please maintain our prayer life. We must attend Eucharist, we must attend all church activities while we are still breathing.\”
The celebration has attracted hundreds of Christians around Visale parish.
