UNDP: CULTURE PRESERVATION CRUCIAL.

The United Nations Development Programme recognizes the importance of culture in preserving peace.

Launching \’Talemaot\’ – a creative writing book – on Tuesday in Honiara, UNDP Rep, Jude Solomon Devesi says UNDP recognizes the importance of story telling and creative writing as important component of culture.

Mr Devesi adds consolidating peace should not be a painful process if only people use the artefacts of culture like dance, music and story telling.
