TWELVE SCHOOLS TO TAKE PART IN ANZ PRIMARY SCHOOL TENNIS

Twelve schools in Honiara are currently taking part in the annual Honiara ANZ Primary Schools Tennis Championship.

The tournament, which started yesterday, has three categories – under 10, under 12 and the under 14s.

Schools taking part in this year\’s tournament are Saint Nicholas, Florence Young, Chung Wah, Vura, Coronation, Perch Christian School, Mbokona, Mbokonavera, Tamlan, Kukum SDA, Honiara Integrated and Bishop Epalle Catholic School.

Saint Nicholas won the Tournament Title last year.

SIBC News understands the competition will help identify Solomon Islands players to represent the country next year in the Western Pacific Tennis Championships which will take place in Fiji.
