The People’s Alliance Party President and member of Parliament for North Vella La Vella, Hon. Milner Tozaka has called on the justice system to strengthen the current new Political Party Integrity Act.
Freelancer George Atkin reports Mr Tozaka says this is reasonable as the loss of integrity leadership of Parliamentarians frequently results in the Parliament lacking quorums.
Mr Tozaka says he believes the new Political Parties Integrity Act should be strengthened to reverse the MPs\’ poor attitudes towards leadership.
Mr Tozaka adds it is also important for all political parties to register to be eligible to enter the 2014 Elections.
SIBC News understands Mr Tozaka made the sentiments while addressing the party’s executive and council members in Honiara over the weekend.
