Members of Parliament have paid tribute to the MP for Temotu Pele with obituary speeches in Parliament today.
Member of Parliament for Temotu-Pele, Martin Maga passed away after a long illness.
Reports say, Martin Maga died peacefully at around quarter to 10 last night, at the National Referral Hospital.
Mr Maga was Member of Parliament for his constituency for two terms.
Before becoming a Member of Parliament, he was a public servant serving as Chief of Protocols and then Director of the Asian sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
