Transparency Solomon Islands (TSI) is encouraged by the call for it to establish another office in the provincial Capital, Gizo by the people of Western Province.
A statement from the anti-corruption group said TSI is a small set up with limited resources and that most of the work is done voluntarily.
However, it said the TSI Board would like to assure the people of Western Province that whilst it is unable to establish an office in Gizo due to limited resources, it doesn\’t mean that the people cannot report corrupt activities they know of to TSI.
Corruption watch encouraged the people of Western Province to communicate with the office and it will do its best to follow up on the corrupt allegations in the Western Province.
