The Solomon Islands Men\’s Solympic team has booked a rematch with New Zealand in the final of the OFC Men\’s Olympic Qualifying after a 1-0 win against Vanuatu in the second semi-final at Churchill Park today.
A lone goal from Augustine Waita in 35 minutes was enough for Solomon Islands to book their grand-final match against New Zealand.
Many Solomon Islanders have come out on social media to congratulate the boys for their crucial win.
Solomon Islands will again meet New Zealand this Saturday at Churchill Park, Lautoka, Fiji for the grand final.
