The Solomon Islands Solidarity for West Papua Movement will gather tomorrow in Honiara to affirm their solidarity support with other Melanesian countries and worldwide campaigns towards West Papua\’s application to join the Melanesian Spearhead Group- MSG.
A member of the Solomon Islands Solidarity for West Papua Movement, Grace Hilly confirms, the gathering is also to get the Government to see the importance of Solomon Islands support towards West Papua\’s Application to join MSG.
\”We will gather tomorrow just to show our support of solidarity with other Melanesian nations and also a worldwide campaign and also to get our government to see the importance of Solomon Islands\’ support towards West Papua\’s application to join the MSG.\”
Ms Hilly also encourage Solomon Islands Government to vote in favour of West Papua\’s political independence from Indonesia.
\”I would just like to encourage the Solomon Islands Government to please vote wisely into helping our people in West Papua.\”
Tomorrow\’s gathering will be outside the Honiara City Council compound.
