The Solomon Islands Government has thrown its support behind the Solomon Islands Media Association (MASI) in preparation towards hosting the Pacific Islands News Association in May next year.
Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Maelanga Made the assurance during the MASI Corporate Dinner in Mendana hotel.
“Media is a a very important partner in the country’s development.
The government is well behind supporting MASI for the upcoming event.”
The corporate dinner was in preparation towards the hosting of PINA in May next year.
