Solomon Airlines have been awarded IATA Operational Safety Audit Certification.
Announcing the news, Chairman of Solomon Airlines Board of Directors, Denton Rarawa said the IATA award represented a major achievement.
Mr Rarawa said the implications this world standard safety accreditation has for Solomon Airlines are tremendous and will play a key role in the Airline\’s efforts to achieve its long term ambition of full IATA membership.
He says the IOSA Certification means a much stronger commercial alliance with regional and international partners and taking a place alongside other fellow IOSA-accredited airlines.
He said the Airlines hope this certification will also mean much an increase in IATA interline partnerships.
