The Pikinini Rugby program will kick off this Saturday at the Panatina oval starting at 7.30am.
A media statement from the Solomon Islands Rugby Union Federation, SIRUF, says Parents are encouraged to bring their kids to have fun and learn basic skills about rugby.
Registration will be done on the field and parents are encouraged to sign a parental consent form.
The SIRUF program was initiated in 2007 to develop kids interest in rugby and help them develop a healthy lifestyle.
The statement adds, parents, supporters, former and current players wishing to volunteer and assist in refereeing and coaching the kids are welcome to help out.
Kids are advised to wear proper sporting clothes and shoes plus bring their water bottle.
