The Solomon Electricity Authority (SIEA) has effected its new tariff adjustments for the fourth quarter of this year.
The state owned enterprise says the adjustment expects a reduction in the domestic base tariff from seven dollar to six dollars, commercial base tariff from $7.63 to $6.58 and Industrial base tariff from $7.44 to $6.39
SIEA management assures its customers that according to its 2005 regulation, the new tariffs will be shown as separate items on its customers\’ bill.
SIBC News understands the new tariff adjustment is effective from the 1st of October.
