Solomon Islands students studying at Laucala, University of the South Pacific will host Solomon Islands 38th Independence anniversary in Suva Fiji.
Explaining the program outline is the President of the Solomon Islands Students Association Mr. Richard Hou.
\”We will begin in the morning with a thanksgiving service to look back at our history and after the thanksgiving service we will continue on with speeches from our invited guests and concluded with a feast.\”
President Hou adds, the guest of honour for tomorrow\’s program is the Solomon Islands High Commissioner to Fiji, His Excellency Patteson Oti.
Solomon Islands students studying in various institutions in Fiji and Solomon Islanders working and residing in Fiji are attending the celebrations.
