Schools in North Malaita have started their mid-year break.
SIBC\’s Stringer for North Malaita John Kiri reports, both Primary and Secondary schools all around North Malaita have closed for their mid year break.
\”All schools over here are now closing for the mid year break starting last week and even as we speak school children are coming home for holidays. Being out and about I\’ve witnessed both primary and community high schools is the region are now closing for their mid year breaks.\”
The North Malaita stringer adds, students see the mid year break as an opportunity to help their parents prepare for school fees for another semester of learning.
