Tthe Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) will introduce a National Women\’s League and National under 16 leagues later this month.
The SIFF media officer and coordinator of the national leagues Joseph Boso says this is part of SIFF\’s ongoing program in the development of national leagues.
He says the structure of these leagues will be similar to the Telekom- S-League.
Mr Boso says this is to continuously promote football in Solomon Islands.
\”The overall objective of SIFF is to continuously promote football in Solomon Islands so one way of doing that is by expanding a number of competitions that we have.\”
