National broadcaster, the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation (SIBC) today joined 24 other radio stations around the world to celebrate World Radio Day.
World Radio Day was celebrated at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.
World Radio Day celebrates radio as a medium, to improve international cooperation between broadcasters, and to encourage major networks and community radio to promote access to information.
