The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) has acknowledged its contribution in the 12th Enhanced Consultation Mechanism (ECM).
Held in Honiara last week, the meeting reviewed RAMSI\’s activities and performance over the past year.
It also enables Senior representatives of Pacific Islands Forum nations to witness live firing demonstration by members of the Police Response Team and an Explosive Ordinance Disposal presentation conducted by the RSIPF.
Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast told local Reporters, he was pleased to receive positive feedback from ECM officials about the live demonstrations.
\”It\’s very pleasing to say that the feedback from that visit was very positive and that positive sentiment followed into the ECM consultation meetings the following day, which was very constructive and I think useful.\”
