R.S.I.P.F\’s INTERPOL ATTENDANCE POSTPONED

Solomon Islands will not be attending the 2015 World INTERPOL Conference in Singapore next month.

Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast confirmed at a media conference today Solomon Islands attendance has been cancelled for a range of reasons.

However, the police boss says the interest of the RSIPF and Solomon Islands to rejoin Interpol is a fact.

\”But the interest of the RSIPF and Solomon Islands rejoining Interpol is a fact, so what we are intending to do,  I\’m in the process of writing a letter to Interpol about membership and there\’ll probably a visit later in the year to the Interpol centre in Singapore to work, through membership.\”
