Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo has today left for a state visit to New Zealand.
While in New Zealand, Prime Minister Lilo will officially open the Solomon Islands High Commission Office in Wellington.
The Prime Minister is also expected to engage in high-level dialogues with New Zealand business houses and meet with top New Zealand Government ministers.
The Prime Minister will also be holding bilateral talks with his New Zealand counterpart John Key.
A Government media statement says Prime Minister Lilo is also expected to be accorded a Guard of Honour on Wednesday when he is expected to visit the New Zealand parliament.
The Prime Minister and his delegation return on Monday, March 17.
