The election petition against the MP for Gizo-Kolombangara Jimson Tanagada will continue in July.
Former Prime Minister and losing candidate Gordon Darcy Lilo is petitioning Tanangada\’s election in December 2014, claiming bribery and undue influence.
Justice Rex Foukona while presiding over a case this morning at the High Court, mentioned that the 1st of July has been allocated for the trial to continue.
He says the hearing is set to run for 10 days with eighteen witnesses to testify.
Lilo\’s petition is one of fifteen lodged by losing candidates after the National General Elections in 2014.
