Some voters at three polling stations in the North Malaita Constituency have withheld giving names of their parents in the current registration exercise.
The three Polling Stations are Malu’u Station, Raubabate and Kakale in Ward 8 of the Constituency.
Assistant Registration Clerk for Raubabate Polling Station Mr. Ricksol Alifeo confirmed this to SIBC stringer Lensley Kwaimani today.
Mr Alifeo says the people have done this because they said their parents have nothing to do with this year\’s national general elections.
He adds some have decided to do this as their parents have passed on for years.
