The Parliamentary Opposition Group has congratulated the newly elected Premier of Makira Ulawa Province, Hon. Stanley Siapu on his appointment.
In a statement today, the Opposition encouraged Mr Siapu that attaining a higher calling in the leadership hierarchy is not easy as it requires confidence, maturity and the ability to show leadership through easy and tough times.
The statement said Premier Siapu\’s election victory is a reflection of trust and confidence from his colleague provincial members and the people of Makira Ulawa Province.
The Parliamentary Opposition adds they are looking forward to working with the Premier and his new executive in any capacity to continue the honorable service of serving the people with humility and dignity.
