The North Guadalcanal MP Martin Sopaghe is currently hosting a Seven-a-side soccer knock-out tournament in Parisisi village in Guadalcanal Plains.
Sixteen teams are taking part in the tournament, which began a few weeks ago.
SIBC North Guadalcanal Stringer, Dudley Gani says the soccer tournament aims to prevent youths from being involved in unlawful activities.
\”According to Honourable Sopahge the seven-a-side soccer knock out is to engage youths to participate in the games and not to involve in unlawful activities,\” reports Mr. Gani.
