The National Examination Standard Unit (NESU) has confirmed a low number of Form Five placements to Form Six this year.

The Unit said this was due to the limited number of schools with Form Six in the country.

NESU Director Linda Daisy Wate said only 40 percent of students have managed to get into Form Six, out of more the than 5,000 students enrolled.

She recommends that Community High Schools should introduce boarding centres to ensure good entrance for the high number of students in the rural areas.

\”I think the recommendation I have there, is for a lot of the community high schools in the rural areas which are very populated, should have boarding centres to cater for the students.\”
