Police Officers in Kirakira, Makira Ulawa Province have apprehended a male suspect in his 20s this morning following an alleged murder incident at Waihaoru village, in West Bauro, Central Makira on new year\’s day.
Makira Ulawa Provincial Police Commander- PPC Richard Hane confirms to SIBC News, the incident occurred yesterday.
The Makira Ulawa Province PPC also adds the suspect is now in the Kirakira Police custody.
He says at the moment Police Officers are trying to calm down the tension between the relatives of the deceased and the relatives of the suspect.
