The Member of Parliament for North Guadalcanal Constituency Hon Samson Maneka has handed over a $200,000.00 worth Pick-up Truck to the Companions of the Anglican Melanesian Brotherhood in Ghaubata Parish.
North Guadalcanal Constituency\’s Communication Unit reports, Hon. Maneka handed over the vehicle with $2,000 capital for fuel to the Companions at Pokasou Community yesterday.
Hon Maneka said it is his desire to support organised groupings in his constituency.
The Member of Parliament appeals to the recipients to respect the gift as the answer to their many plays.
Meanwhile, Chair of the Ghaubata Parish Companions Mr. Fred Futia thanked Mr. Maneka saying that the vehicle will be used to support the mission of the Melanesian Brotherhood.
Mr. Futia has also presented a Chupu to Hon Maneka as a token of appreciation.
