The Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MID) together with the Traffic Department of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) will conduct a community-based consultation and awareness program in West Guadalcanal starting tomorrow.
The Ministry said in a statement, the awareness program will start at Vatukulau community and concludes on Sunday at Visale.
It said the program aims to educate school children and community people about the importance of respecting and having a sense of ownership to public roads, bridges, culverts, wharfs, and airstrips.
The awareness initiative is part of the Ministry\’s work plan for 2016.
