A man from east-central Guadalcanal has called on public transport service providers in Honiara to respect their passengers while travelling.
Edwin Kumba made the call after observing that a lot of public transport providers are playing loud music while travelling with their passengers.
He said this annoys people at times and can also cause accidents once drivers are not careful.
He adds, another common problem in Honiara is also the consumption of alcohol in public vehicles, saying it is high time the public and vehicle drivers adhere to traffic rules.
