A concerned man from Namorako, Malaita province has called for proper maintenance of roads from contractors responsible for the South road towards West Are\’are.
John Bare told SIBC News, currently there a four contractors engaged to improving the deteriorating road conditions from Auki to Kwaimanafu.
Mr. Bare said some contractors have done a good job while others\’ are not very impressive.
He said contractors must ensure all road works are perfectly done and meet funding expectations.
\”Since they have awarded contracts to repair the South road, only one contractor has done well and I am happy with its work, so if all contractors can do the same for the South road, that will be commendable.\”
