The recently established Scorpion Boxing Club has received a cash assistance of $5,000 from a local company, CT Holdings this week.
The timely cash donation will go towards the purchasing of boxing uniforms and training equipment.
Interim Club President Pellion Buare says this is indeed a timely donation for the club.
The club wishes to thank Chief Edward Kingmele and directors of CT Holdings for the assistance which will boost the club and its mostly young boxers.
Mr. Buare says the club will do its best in current and future HABA tournaments to produce best boxers.
