Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Lands, Stanley Wale admits, dealing with customary land owners has been a great challenge for the government.
Mr Wale says, with the increase in land disputes in the country, the Ministry of Lands is doing everything possible to educate landowners know the country\’s Land system.
He said the Ministry aims to provide additional land related awareness next year.
Wale was speaking during a round table discussion between the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce, Economic Association of Solomon Islands and World Bank on Pathways to inclusive growth and shared prosperity in Solomon Islands.
