The United States Government and the Solomon Islands government have signed an agreement to secure extended boundary around the Guadalcanal American Memorial at Skyline, in Honiara.

A statement from the US Embassy in Honiara said the signing, which took place on Tuesday, follows concerns that some individuals have encroached the land.

Through the agreement, the Ministry of Lands approved the request for an extended boundary, that includes a larger perimeter around the Memorial.
