A juvenile charged with one count of rape appeared in the Magistrate Court this morning and denied the charge.
The defendant allegedly committed the offence on the 5th of May this year in a village in North Guadalcanal.
This morning, when the charged was read to him, he denied it.
His case was adjourned to next week for a preliminary inquiry.
Meanwhile, sentencing submissions were presented for another man charged with arson.
The man committed the offence in Samaria East Guadalcanal.
He will appear again in Court on the 31st of this month for his sentence.
