The Leadership Code Commission has formally charged the Member of Parliament for Small Malaita and former Finance Minister Rick Hou and former Finance Permanent Secretary Shadrach Fanega for official misconduct.
LCC Chair Francis Luza confirmed to SIBC News, investigators served Mr Hou\’s charge today and to Mr Fanega last week.
He said the investigators did this after completing their investigations.
Mr Luza says Mr Hou and Mr Fanega have 60 days to respond to their charges.
He says the charges relate to the ownership of MV Small Mala and the registration of Small Malaita Shipping Company as their own.
