The heavy rain alert has been cancelled.
The Solomon Islands Meteorological Service cancelled the alert in its final weather update today.
The Met Service had previously issued a fourth heavy rain alert for Isabel, Choiseul, Western, Guadalcanal, Central, Rennell & Bellona and Malaita provinces.
It later issued a Heavy Rain Alert Cancellation at 5pm this evening, saying it is legitimate as associated cloud and areas of heavy rain
showers are now slowly easing.
