H.C.C MUST PRIORITIZE TALKS ON TOWN BOUNDARY WITH GUADALCANAL

The Honiara City Council (HCC) must prioritise talks with the Guadalcanal Province over Honiara City boundaries.

Former Deputy Mayor Eric Tema was talking about HCC priority areas recently.

Mr Tema says, the Council has started initial talks on the matter but awaits the Guadalcanal provincial government to set a date for dialogue over the outstanding issue of Honiara Town boundary.

He says HCC see this as a priority issue to sort out before rolling out its development plans on lands close to the edge of the city boundary.
