The Government has donated 2-million dollars to Helena Goldie Hospital in Munda, Western Province.
Acting Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga delivered the cheque to Helena Goldie Hospital authorities at a handover ceremony in Munda on Saturday.
A Government Communication Statement says the donation was from financial support received from Taiwan for the health sector.
Government Ministers and officials who travelled to Munda for the handover ceremony include the Health and Medical Services Minister Charles Sigoto; the Provincial Government Minister Silas Tausinga; and officials from the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
