Communities of East Malaita and Kwaio, Malaita Province have praised the National Government\’s 1-million-dollar relief supply in response to a flood in July this year which destroyed their livelihoods.
East Malaita and East Kwaio Disaster Council Chairman, Jonathan Aruru says people from both constituencies acknowledge the swift response by the Government to assist them survive the natural disaster.
Mr Aruru adds people are now selling newly grown crops in the market for their income, a sign of recovery.
