Temotu Provincial election results have been announced.
Andrew Nalua of Radio Temotu, reports, among the winners is a female, Mrs Joycelyn West who won the provincial seat for Ward 10 in Neanole, Temotu Nende.
\”One has been elected for Nende, Joycelyn West who contested and won the seat for Ward ten, Neanole.\”
He adds this is the first time for a woman to win a seat in the Temotu Provincial Elections.
Temotu Province has 17 Wards in total.
