Coffee farmers in the North East highlands of Guadalcanal have called on the Sogavare-led Government to address current biosecurity issues holding up exporting coffee beans from Solomon Islands.
Coffee farmers were left disappointed after Viravao Holding Limited cancelled it\’s services because there were delays in sorting out export arrangement and bio-security issues with importing countries. Farmer Representative Rolland Jirah told SIBC News, coffee is their only source of income and the DCC government should address the issue.
