East Malaita Ward 16 has a new Provincial Member.
He is Finley Fuimae who polls a total of 530 votes against the outgoing member Billy Farobo who polls a total of 206 votes during the provincial election on Wednesday.
Speaking to SIBC News today, Mr Fiumae said, he will consult communities to develop projects and put forward to the provincial and national government to develop his ward.
\”The community will decide on the best development plans and put them together before I can carry them forward both at the provincial and national levels of government.\”
The new elected provincial leader thanked the people for their confidence and trust in him.
