D.C.C CALLED ON TO INITIATE ROAD REPAIR POSSIBILITIES

Communities in Northwest Guadalcanal have called on Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) Government to initiate possibilities to fix the current deteriorating road condition at Komebau Naro.

SIBC stringer for West Guadalcanal John Toki reported Chief Luke Hokoseni of Laovasa in West Guadalcanal as saying any initiative taken by the DCC Government to repair the bad road condition is important.

Chief Hokoseni said this is because the road system connects important developments in the area, including Selwyn College.

SIBC News understands, the last government, through the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, started a road rehabilitation project for the Naro-Lambi stretch of road in West Guadalcanal last year.
